Mighty Mouse Wireless
I purchased an Apple Bluetooth wireless Mighty Mouse that is disappointing. The mouse worked fine for the first week. I dropped it at a LAN party (shit happens) and now it does track as it used to. On a nice black mouse pad it freaks out. The most disappointing thing is Apple’s support. They are acclaimed to be the cream of the crop for tech support, yet they fail to amuse me. The wait times are double what they say and they have poor trouble shooting skills. I am on the line with tech support right now (completing my first hour) making it my fourth call to tech support in 2 weeks. (My new Mac book had a defective digital optical out port.) Hopefully this will be my last encounter with Apple for a while. Otherwise, I’m thoroughly impressed with Apply overall.
Update: I have a new mouse coming in 3-5 days. The Apple tech was really nice and I once again prevailed over tech support.
Update 2: I have received my mouse and it is working like a charm
I have RMA’d with apple two times in the last month. Gotta get your money’s worth, right?
