The Blog is Alive

I have decided to brush off the dust and to begin blogging again. Expect new content to be added weekly (especially this summer).

School

It’s Spring quarter, and it’s almost over! Finals are next week and then I’m moving back home. This quarter has been very busy with lots of new things going on. I interviewed for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the Computer Science & Engineering department here at UW and have been teaching an intro web design course. I’ve been taking a history of Jazz course that has really pumped me up to get back into playing saxophone this summer. And final, the weather is amazing out. I know what I’ll be doing this summer: swimming!

School

It’s been a while since I last posted. I thought i would give an update. This quarter is already almost over! This coming week is 7/10. This last Friday I had two midterms. Everyone is getting anxious for Spring time. The weather is always gray. Today there was a nice break of sunshine. My birthday is coming up at the end of this month. Lots of things going on. More updates to follow.

More Loft Modifications

I have added more pictures of my loft in all it’s glory. I have moved most of my stuff under and have put up some rope lights for a WOW effect. Also, I installed my alarm clock upside down on the underside of my bed so i can set alarms, read the time, etc without having to reach all the way down! It’s pretty sweet. The pictures speak for themself.

What's that?! A view of my ICOAHAD from the bed. Observe how inversion is right side up when you're upsidedown.

Free Office 2007 Pro

As you all know (hopefully) Microsoft Windows Vista and Microsoft Office 2007 both were released to the general public today worldwide. About two months ago I saw a slickdeal.net posting about powertogether.com or something (actually registered by Microsoft through a WHOIS) was offering free software of both Vista and Office Pro. They had you complete three one-hour video training sessions on their web interface and that was that. Little did I know the offer was real. Today I received a letter in the mail from Microsoft with instructions on how to install my copy of Office 2007 Pro! As we speak, the software is downloading. Oh, it’s done. Please excuse me while I install it.
